Then The Podcast Comes Alive Onstage!

Ulmer Theatricals presents Something New: The Concert on Monday, May 20th at 7PM, at Stage 72 at the Triad in New York (158 W. 72nd St).

SN:TC is an evening of original songs from the first season of Joel B. New’s hit iTunes podcast. The show draws from several of his musical theatre projects, including Mackenzie and the Missing Boy, To Hell and Back, Standalone, In Others’ Words, and RSVP.

Directed by Lori Steinberg, the cast consists primarily of past and future guest artists from New’s podcast. Audience members can expect to hear the vocal stylings of Liz Asti, Edmund Bagnell, Greg Etling, Scott Guthrie, Leslie Henstock, Stephanie Joiner, Melanie Kann, Charlie Levy, Melissa McKamie, Jenny Neale, Christine Paterson, Jacob Schneider, Nathan Siler, Stephanie Sine, David Alan Thornton, Liz Ulmer, Lindsie Vanwinkle, and Chris York.

The band is made up of Edmund Bagnell (violin), Nathan Siler (guitar), Joel B. New (guitar), Dan Radzikowski (piano), and Jessica Winderweedle (percussion).

Something New: The Concert is presented in honor of Kathy New, and all proceeds will benefit the Human Rights Campaign (hrc.org).
